Singapore, 22 October 2010 - Few people know that Audio-Technica has been manufacturing high quality headphones way back since the early-seventies. But you can almost relive its entire history just by looking at the latest kid from Audio-Technica: The ATH-RE70.

The retro-styled ATH-RE70 is a remake of the hugely popular 30-year-old ATH-2 model. The Japanese design team is committed on keeping the originality of the headphone. From the leather-metal combination, to the stitching, to the choice of leather and the design of the ear cups, the ATH-RE70 reminds us of how some great designs can continue to live through generations.

Although the exterior of the headphone remains fairly the same, be prepared for a massive overhaul of the inside. ATH-RE70 comes with an impressive 40mm diameter driver that produces a well-balanced and superior sound. It also offers great sound isolation for our everyday commuting. Other upgrades also add to the improved comfort and fit for the wearer. The large leather overhead strap eases pressure on the head, while the smooth slider design and universal swiveling ear cups ensure the perfect fit for long listening sessions.

All thanks to ATH-RE70, history is brought back alive in a brand new experience.
